CHRISTINA VLACHOU

BIOGRAPHY

Christina Vlachou is Cultural Manager and co-founder of Off Stream since 2021. She studied Economics and holds a master's degree in Cultural Management (UNESCO Chair MA Cultural Policy and Management, Université Lumière Lyon2, Belgrade University of Arts). For the last fourteen years she has been active in the field of contemporary art and contemporary culture, having worked in museums, festivals, galleries and cultural institutions, such as MOMUS-Metropolitan Organization of Fine Arts Museums of Thessaloniki, Labattoir program of the Deputy Mayor of Culture of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, Reworks festival, DYNAMO project-space and the former Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art. She specializes in the field of organizing and executing production, communication and fundraising of visual projects and actions with a social character. She is also a co-founder of WhyNot::, an urban and artistic activism collective based in Thessaloniki and a member of the Goethe-Institut's Culture for Change and Cultural Innovators Network.
