“Archive Alert” is an online platform through which individuals, organizations and collectives can declare all kinds of records (audiovisual, maps, photographs, publications, newspapers, posters, etc.) a) they hold and want to disclose their existence b) files they have located and consider that are at risk due to ignorance, negligence or lack of specialized knowledge. After the electronic declaration, through the platform, the competent bodies (archives, libraries) are informed so that they can intervene. The intervention may take the form of recovery/rescue or simple logging, provided that the material is not in danger.
