The Water Walkers sought to “walk” the distance between citizens and civil society bodies on the one hand, and decision-making on urban development on the other. The project carried out an experiment: it invited KICs and decision makers to participate in the implementation of an original, translocal approach to participation in the design of actions to exploit a unique commodity: the Adriatic Aqueduct. The Adriatic is a Roman aqueduct that connects 7 municipalities of Attica and is an urban resource of unique value at the level of environment (water), culture (monument) and urban networking (network). A collaboration between UrbanDig Project and AoH Athina.
