GIANNIS PAPPAS

I studied Italian Language & Philology at the University of Strasbourg, obtained a master's degree in Conference Interpretation from the University of Strasbourg (EN & FR > GR) and also have a professional diploma in Digital Marketing from Alba Graduate Business School. I am COO of MENTOR, a successful company I co-founded in 2014, which provides innovative cultural production and management services. MENTOR invests in developing synergies with public and private actors and professionals in the cultural and creative sectors, as well as with the academic and research community at national and international levels.I am also a co-founder of CHORUS, a non-profit organization that supports civil society initiatives, promotes respect for human rights and It upholds humanitarian ideals through art, culture and education. Study Abroad in Greece (SaiG) is one of CHORUS's most important initiatives, through which international students participate in specialized academic tourism programs throughout Greece. In summary, I am a Chioan, working and developing in the field of culture as a creative producer, allergic to the prejudices, bigotry, physical and verbal abuse of any creature, and who also firmly believes in the power of socially active people to positively influence change in the world through words, actions, beliefs and of their perceptions.
