Invitation to the 5th General & Election Accounting Meeting of the Culture ForChange Network

Call for nominations

Dear Members,

By decision of the Board of Directors of the Association Culture for Change on 15 January 2025, and in accordance with the Statute of the Network, the Annual General and Election Report Meeting for the members of the Culture for Change Association.

Date and Place‍

THE 5th General Assemblyand the Electionsof the networkCultura per cambiarethap ragged Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 in Athens. ‍

This year the General Assembly will be held in a hybrid way, that is, you can participate in such a lively way in the space allotted to us Coconut on the streetKaterinis 10, Athens, as well as online. Detailed instructions will be sent to members who will participate in the assembly and elections online. The meeting will be monitored online via zoom and voting will be done via the ZEUS platform.‍

Live Participation:

Members are invited to arrive at 10.30 am and at 12.00 pm the 5th General Meeting will begin.

Digital Participation:

The General Assembly begins at 12.00 p.m.

New members who joined the CForC community in January 2025 under the Articles of Association, can attend all the processes of the Association but do not have the right to vote.

‍Necessary Statement of Knowledge for the General Assembly

According to the Articles of Association, all members, regardless of their participation in the General Assembly, They are asked to respond that they have received knowledge of this invitation.

‍ You may register your candidacy for election at:

- Board of Directors

- the Board of Trustees

- Coordinator of the General Assembly

- Secretary of the General Assembly (Observance of Minutes of the General Assembly)

- submit topics for vote to the General AssemblyImportant restrictions for candidates:

Important Restrictions for Candidates:

- No person can be a candidate for the Board of Directors (Board) and the Audit Committee at the same time.

- Those who are candidates for any office cannot be elected members of the Executive Committee.

- Anyone who has already served as a member for two consecutive terms cannot run for the Board of Directors.

- Anyone who has already served as a member of the Audit Committee for two consecutive terms cannot run for office.

- All candidates, regardless of office, must be financially settled members for the current year 2025.‍

Prerequisite for Participation in the Voting as a Voter‍

In order to participate in the vote, you must have settled all your financial obligations to the Association and have paid (or paid by February 22, 2025 and the contribution of 2025). ‍

Case of Lack of Candidates for the Election of Appointment of Board Members and Dissolution of Association‍

In the event that no nominations are received by February 20, 2025 at 14.00, in order to form a ballot, then the General Assembly on February 22 will have as its sole issue the dissolution of the Association and the promotion of the group that will represent the network in the adjournment proceedings at the Athens Court of First Instance.‍

Repeated General Meeting

We inform you that in the event that the quorum required by the Statute is not reached on Saturday, February 22, 2025, the Repeated General Meeting shall be held on the basis of the Statute, on Sunday, March 1, 2025, at 12.00-14.00 and in the event that a quorum is not reached then, a second general meeting will be held on March 5, 2025 at 12.00-14.00. 00, at the headquarters of the Association (L. Alexandras 48, Athens).
