Based on the recent circular referring to Law 4873/2021and the KYU 6216/2023, all non-profit organizations are invited to register in special registers, with the aim of increasing transparency and proper management of their resources. However, the Law Advocacy Committee, through negotiations and collective efforts, managed to exclude Unionsof this obligation. This exception was made in recognition that Associations have a different structure and mode of governance from the rest of the non-profit organizations, ensuring that the requirements remain adapted to the nature and needs of the various organizations.
Through this exception, the importance of systematic work and negotiation to defend the particularities of each organization is highlighted. It is important for all members of the Network Cultura per cambiareto be informed and to ensure that they follow the correct procedures.
